Conceived initially to encompass 500 homes and a 36-hole golf course, the project has undergone adjustments in response to water concerns. As explained by Kyle Moyer, the project's representative, the golf course element has been omitted from the plans. Nevertheless, in an intriguing twist, the developers are proposing an additional 600 homes, signaling a dynamic evolution in the project's vision.
The proposed alteration awaits the scrutiny and endorsement of the Maricopa County Planning and Zoning Commission. Presently, the 492-acre site holds zoning for 500 homes, underscoring the significance of official approval for the envisioned expansion of West Thirty-Six.
